BRIDGEND AREA COMMUNITY PANTRIES

Volunteers distribute unwanted food generously donated by local shops and retailers and provide to members for a nominal amount, our goal is to minimise the food going into bins on a daily basis.

For a small weekly subscription of £5, members of the pantry can purchase a bag of at least 10 food items. These include store cupboard staples, family favourites plus fresh fruit and vegetables.

The pantry aims to provide affordable food at difficult or challenging times.

 

Delivery can be arranged if needed – may be preferred during lockdown.
